Pim Wangtechawat is a Thai-Chinese writer from Bangkok, Thailand.

Pim’s short stories, poems, and articles have been published in various websites, literary magazines and journals, including the Mekong Review, the Nikkei Asian Review, Den of Geek, and YesPoetry.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from King’s College London, and graduated with Distinction from Edinburgh Napier University with a Masters in Creative Writing.

Her debut novel, The Moon Represents My Heart, was published by OneWorld Publications in June 2023, with American rights acquired by Blackstone Publishing. The novel has been translated into several languages, including Thai, Spanish, and Italian. Actress Gemma Chan is attached to the screen adaptation.

Pim is passionate about using writing to empower Thai youths, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. She has given workshops and talks at many schools and universities around the world, including Chulalongkorn University and Hong Kong Adventist Academy. Her work and community involvement have been featured in Vogue Thailand.

Through her writing, she aims to tell stories that reflect our shared humanity, and bring more Asian narratives to the forefront of literature. 

Her second novel, I Dreamed of You, will be published by OneWorld Publications in March 2026.

She is currently working on her third novel, and is represented by Liza DeBlock of Greenstone Literary Agency.
